LaShawn is a teen with a big personality who easily draws people in. Recently he disclosed that he is transgender and has begun using the name LaShawn. He enjoys helping people and doing chores around the house. LawShawn has the ability to do very well in school, particularly in smaller classes with more attention to his needs, and his favorite subjects are reading and math.
LaShawn’s favorite books are ones about adventures and fairy tales. He loves playing sports, watching movies, and listening to music. You can often find LaShawn wearing neon colors and matching his outfits to his shoes. He enjoys board games and is good at both reading and writing.
LaShawn recently left institutional care to move in with a foster family and has transitioned very well. LaShawn will do best in a family that accepts him for who he is and where he is either the youngest or the only child.
