A woman sits as she holds her child on her lap while doing a training on her laptop

You will never stop flipping your lid. And it’s ok. It makes sense.

You’re human. Parenting is hard.

Parenting children who have experienced loss and trauma is hard. Returning to calm can get easier and it can happen faster. Repairing and returning to connection is possible.

How? Through compassion. Self-compassion. Shifting into a place of openness and curiosity and away from shame and blame is possible with self-compassion.

Join Paths for Families for a free training as we discuss what it feels like to make sense of your feelings and behaviors and move into a place of parenting from compassion.

At the conclusion of this training participants will be able to:

  • Define self-compassion.
  • Identify at least 3 strategies for self-compassion.
  • Describe at least 3 benefits of self-compassion.
