Paths for Families provides specialized services that meet the unique and specific needs of families. We provide individual and family mental health counseling to children, youth, adults, and families, using attachment-focused, evidence-based modalities. We also host support groups, many facilitated by people with lived experience, for children, youth, and families. Paths for Families' counseling services are offered through Telehealth, in our offices located in Washington, DC, Alexandria, VA, Baltimore, MD, and Calverton, MD, and in-home.
Paths for Families offers evidence-based therapeutic resources for people who have been impacted by the child welfare system, prospective adoptive families, families formed through adoption or other means, adoptees of all ages, kinship caregivers/families, and many others. Inquire today.

Over our 33+ years supporting children and families, Paths for Families has accumulated expertise in an array of topics. We offer a growing selection of articles to help anyone, anywhere.
We offer online support groups for children, adolescents and families on a variety of issues. These groups aim to allow the participant to receive support from their peers and facilitators with lived experience as well as education from licensed, trained therapists to support their growth and healing. The groups are offered weekly and monthly.
