Amy Simms has worked as a social worker for over twenty years, serving families and children. She graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore and earned her Master of Social Work in 2001 and her LMSW in 2004. As an adoptive mother, she has extensive personal and professional experience in both domestic and international adoption and a passion for supporting families along their adoption journey. In addition to her work with families and children, Amy has worked in the international nonprofit field and has a special interest and training in race relations and cultural bridge building. Outside of work, Amy enjoys coaching youth sports, reading, and spending family time with her husband and three children.
