Janie joins Paths for Families as a training specialist for staff in Prince George’s County schools. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Georgia and a master’s in social work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Throughout her social work career, Janie has had a focus on children and families. She has a certificate in nonprofit leadership and management and had a focus on communities, management, and policy practice while completing her masters. Janie also brings training and curriculum development experience from working with child welfare professionals and foster parents. Overall, she has a strong passion for making system-level changes for children and families.
During her free time, Janie enjoys playing tennis, trying new recipes, being outside, spending time with her family and friends, and shopping.
