Jessica Ostrander
MSWStaff Home Study Manager
Jessica Ostrander has been working in the field of child welfare since 1996. Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The George Washington University in 1992 and a Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1996. She started as a home study social worker contractor with Paths for Families in 2004 and began working full time for the organization in 2008.
While at Paths for Families she has worked in areas of home study, birth parent counseling, and training. As the current Home Study Manager, Jessica supports adoptive families through the entire home study and post placement process. She works as a clinical liaison between clients and our home study social workers as well as outside placement agencies and government entities that serve the adoption process.
Jessica is a parent to two adult daughters and two adult step-sons. She currently lives with her husband Dave in Harrisonburg, Virginia. When she’s not working, she enjoys trying new restaurants, antiquing, hiking, and traveling.
