Lakisha Solomon is a human services worker with over 18 years of experience serving youth and their families. Lakisha earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Master of Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore. Lakisha is currently serving as a Family Find Permanency Specialist whose mission is to connect children and youth in the child welfare system with relatives and permanent support. Lakisha’s extensive community-based work includes case management, parent interviews, counseling services, and facilitating foster parent training classes for perspective foster and adoptive parents. Lakisha has been committed to providing passionate, energetic, personable, dependable service to the community and enjoys working with people. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
