Roger Whyte is the Founder and Principal of Stratus Firm, bringing over 20 years of experience in the events industry. He leads a team of experts in producing large-scale events for high-profile clients across industries, including marquee local events like Washingtonian’s Best of Washington and the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington’s annual RAMMYS Awards Gala. Known for his innovative approach to event production, Roger has earned recognition from BizBash, Washingtonian, the Washington Blade, and the Washington Business Journal.
Before launching Stratus Firm, Roger served as the Director of Special Events at Washington Performing Arts and provided support to the White House during the Obama and Biden administrations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
A proud DC native and small business owner, Roger lives in the area with his husband. He was first introduced to Paths for Families when Stratus Firm produced their virtual gala during COVID, sparking his appreciation and connection to their mission.
