(July 1, 2024) – Paths for Families, a leading adoption and family well-being nonprofit serving Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, announces the appointment of Tiffani Williams as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Audra Hurd as Chief Operating Officer (COO), stepping into their respective roles this month. Both Williams’ and Hurd’s new roles reflect the organization’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and creating a culture of growth and development.

Williams, who formerly served as Paths for Families’ Chief Business Officer, joined the organization in 2019 and has played a pivotal role in ensuring best practices in day-to-day operations within the Finance and Operations departments. With over 20 years of financial and operational experience in the private and nonprofit sectors, Williams brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Of the appointment, Williams said:

Hurd, with nearly 20 years of experience at Paths for Families, has been instrumental in managing the agency’s information technology, security, compliance, marketing, and other areas. Known for her problem-solving skills and the ability to leverage technology to resolve operational challenges, Hurd said:

“I am honored to be stepping into the role of COO at Paths for Families. My goal is to continue enhancing our operational efficiencies and ensure that we leverage technology to support our critical mission. I look forward to working closely with our team to solve problems creatively and continue driving positive change within and beyond our organization.”
